The DEYE BOS-A BMU (Battery Management Unit) is a dedicated control and communication component for the Deye BOS-A high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery-storage system.

The BMU works alongside the BOS-A battery-management system to facilitate communication, monitoring and coordinated operation of the battery cluster. Deye’s BOS-A documentation shows dedicated BMU information and monitoring, including cell-voltage and temperature data.

The BOS-A platform uses 7.68kWh LiFePO₄ battery modules and supports scalable configurations of 7–21 modules, allowing approximately 54–161kWh of battery capacity. The BMU is therefore an important component when assembling and managing these larger high-voltage battery clusters.

The BOS-A-BMU requires a dedicated 12V DC power input for internal controller powering during startup. Always ensure the 12V supply is active before closing the main DC isolator.
